Marianne de Trey (1913 - 2016). Hugely influential potter awarded the CBE in 2006 (aged 93 yrs) primarily worked at Shinners Bridge pottery, Dartington, The pedestal vase is undamaged and free from any chips, cracks or repairs. It stands 12.5cm high, it has a rim diameter of 9cm and weighs 157g. It consists of cobalt, copper red and green glaze decoration. The vase is clearly marked just above the base as photographed. The work is typical of Marianne de Trey and those who collect her work will recognise it.
